From Vision to Leadership: Texas Lone Star SCs New Chapter Begins

Texas Lone Star S.C. is an exciting new club preparing for its inaugural season in the Major Arena Soccer League Women (MASLW), and Namdar is poised to guide the team toward success, with his extensive background in sports management, player development, and fostering a winning culture. This landmark moment represents not just a key leadership move, but also the beginning of a new era for the women’s soccer in North Texas, as they prepare to make their mark in the higher levels of womens indoor soccer.

A Fresh Start: The Clubs Vision and Mission

The Texas Lone Star SC is more than just a soccer club. The club aims to be a community-driven organization dedicated to developing local talent, coaches, and sports culture alike. The clubs mission is to provide a nurturing environment where their athletes can grow and succeed, while balancing the demands of soccer with a healthy, fun, and supportive atmosphere. With that being said, the investment into the club, its time, and focus will be to ensure players are provided first class treatment and focus during their season.

The Breakthrough: Entering the Major Arena Soccer League Women

In October 2025, the Texas Lone Star SC reached a monumental milestone by becoming the newest franchise in Major Arena Soccer League Women (MASLW). The club’s official entry into the MASLW marks its first foray into professional women’s indoor soccer, an exciting step forward for both the club and the local Dallas community.

With a vision of becoming a powerful force in professional indoor soccer, the Texas Lone Star’s are determined to use their platform to not only excel in the league but also elevate the profile of women’s sports in the region. The MASLW’s decision to welcome the Texas Lone Star SC as a franchise is a testament to the club’s forward-thinking leadership and commitment to excellence.

Brad Namdar, the newly appointed General Manager, will play a critical role in ensuring the team’s successful transition into this new, high-profile competition. His extensive experience in the sports world, combined with his passion for soccer and player development, makes him uniquely qualified to take on this pivotal role.

Brad Namdar: The Perfect Fit for the Role of GM

Brad Namdar’s appointment as General Manager comes after years of involvement in sports leadership and management. He has been a cornerstone in shaping the club’s development strategy, overseeing the player recruitment process, sponsorship outreach, club development, and ensuring that the Lone Stars maintain their commitment to player-centered coaching. Namdar’s experience aligns seamlessly with the clubs philosophy of creating an environment that allows players to excel both on and off the field.

As GM, Namdar’s primary responsibilities will include overseeing the teams operational functions, player recruitment, sponsorship outreach, and community outreach programs. His leadership is expected to be the catalyst for the Lone Stars’ success both in terms of competitive performance and in the expansion of their fanbase.

In an official statement, Namdar expressed his excitement about leading the team into the MASLW. “I’m honored to take on the role of General Manager for such a passionate and dedicated group, and lets get after it!,” he said.

Namdar’s appointment is not only a win for the Texas Lone Stars but also for the local soccer community in North Texas. His vision for the club includes creating opportunities for young athletes, supporting grassroots initiatives, and fostering a culture of inclusivity and excellence.

Strategic Focus: Player Development and Community Engagement

This club’s commitment to player development has been evident in the team’s philosophy set by Namdar,  which places emphasis on building skills, fostering teamwork, and enhancing tactical awareness.

The club’s home games will be played at TOCA Carrollton, an indoor arena in Carrollton, Texas, that will serve as the centerpiece of the Lone Stars’ operations. This venue will not only be the site for professional matches but also a hub for youth clinics, training sessions, and other community outreach programs. The club’s leadership recognizes the importance of nurturing talent from the ground up and intends to leverage their platform to positively impact the next generation of soccer players.

With Namdar at the helm, the club seems to be well-positioned in building lasting relationships with soccer fans, the local community, and the world of womens soccer.
