Logitech MX Creative Console Software Update Enhances Functionality
Logitech has announced a significant software update for its MX Creative Console, expanding its compatibility to include several highly demanded applications.
New Integrations and Features
Available now via the Logi Marketplace, the latest update introduces new features designed to enhance workflow. Notably, the update brings powerful integrations with Final Cut Pro and plugins that support leading applications such as Adobe Lightroom and Figma.
Adobe Lightroom Plugin
Developed in partnership with Adobe, the fresh Lightroom plugin allows users to utilize the console’s large dial to effortlessly straighten images with a twist. Additionally, the LCD buttons on the keypad can be personalized, making it easy to set up shortcuts for quick image rating and flagging.
Figma Plugin Enhancements
The newly added Figma plugin optimizes workflow by allowing users to control text alignment, manage spacing, and adjust layouts directly from the keypad. The dial feature further enhances user experience by enabling adjustments to the size and weight of the text.
Previous and Ongoing Support
The MX Creative Console was initially launched in October with support for various Adobe applications, including Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Illustrator, After Effects, and Lightroom Classic. The current update enhances this support by adding plugins for Adobe’s cloud-based Lightroom, DaVinci Resolve, Figma, and Affinity Photo, a popular alternative to Photoshop.
Community Feedback
According to Anatoliy Polyanker, the general manager of Logitech’s MX Business Unit, feedback from users has highlighted that the MX Creative Console significantly accelerates their workflows, increases productivity, and simplifies tasks. “Adding these highly requested plugins will unlock the MX Creative Console’s potential for a broader range of creative professionals,” he stated.
